Local TV reporter has harrowing experience with LRPD mouthpiece and files complaint Russ Racop  - January 10, 2021 LRPD mouthpiece Mark Nelson a/k/a Mark Edwards - Ill suited for public employment?   On December 11, 2020, KATV reporter Shelby Rose sent iniquitous LRPD chief Humphrey an email requesting an interview.   Instead of receiving a response from the chief or his assistant saying okay and setting up a time, Rose got a terse denial of access to the chief from Nelson/Edwards.     That denial is in direct conflict with information LRPD has on their city website and most all emails that are sent out from the department. Undaunted, Rose responded and again requested the perhaps Nelson/Edwards himself could be interviewed.   As you can see, Nelson/Edwards said no. So much for their #copaganda posted on their webpage. By coincidence, I happened to be at LRPD HQ on December 11, 2020. I was there picking up a FOI response. When I arrived I observed a KATV vehicle parked in front of LRPD

THE "GOOD COP" ARGUMENT Ok, so let's say that there could actually be such a thing as a "good cop". Not in the sense that the rest of us, who realize that anyone that is a member of the Slave Patrol can only be "good" at their job, not morally good at heart. That aside, let's take a look at the liberal's point of view on the subject and maybe catch a glimpse at what that could look like... "...Reality is that almost every police department has both good cops and bad cops. The problem is that many police departments refuse to acknowledge or proactively address the bad cops within their ranks. So, as far as what does a "good" cop look like? I'm sure that there are a great many cops that are quite "good" at executing their duties. With that said, we offer you this thought... How good can any person truly be while witnessing a co-worker violate the rights of another human being, yet does absolutely nothing about it
