CHILD PORN: Little Rock Officer Eddie Seaton Pleads Innocent A Little Rock police officer who faces federal charges of possession and reception of child pornography pleaded innocent on Monday following his arrest. Eddie Scott Seaton Sr. has been relieved of duty but will continue to receive a paycheck until an internal investigation is complete, according to a Little Rock police spokesman, officer Eric Barnes. Seaton, 52, joined the department in March 2007. He is a resident of Cabot, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Allison Bragg. Authorities say Seaton's residence was searched and devices seized during a Dec. 30 raid involving the Little Rock Police's tactical team, the FBI and personnel from other local law enforcement agencies. The search and seizure warrant was the result of a joint investigation by the department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the FBI, police said in a statement announcing Seaton's arrest on Monday. Officer Eddie Seaton, a 12-year veteran of the department, was indicted on a count of possession of child pornography, police said in a news release. Seaton has been on administrative leave since Dec. 30, when police and federal authorities searched his home and seized computers and other electronics, according to the release. He has now been relieved of duty. Seaton was not listed on the Pulaski County jail roster Monday afternoon.Seaton is the fourth Little Rock police officer who has been arrested in recent months. David Littlejohn, 45, was arrested by Little Rock police around 9:30 p.m. at the airport, the report states. Online court records show he faces one count of possession with the purp ose to deliver a schedule IV controlled substance. Detectives were inspecting baggage from incoming flights Tuesday with the help of a K-9, according to the report. The dog flagged six suitcases. News of this prompted one citizen to contact her city board representative and express grave concerns. The first homicide of 2020 occurred in West Little Rock on January 6th (Ward 6) as did a double shooting on January 7th (Ward 5). Both of these violent crimes are making white folks in their WLR neighborhoods very nervous. Apparently LRPD did not provide this information to city leadership as they were caught off guard.
