Mirror:  http://badlittlerock.blogspot.com/ CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY DEFAME LOCAL MINISTER IN EMAIL TO BOARD MEMBERS City Manager Bruce Moore was not at the Little Rock Board of Directors meeting on May 16, 2017. He was not present to listen to the Reverend Benny Johnson, founder and director of  Arkansas Stop the Violence  speak to Mayor Stodola and board members about his and the community's growing concerns about LRPD Chief Kenton Buckner. Take a second and watch Rev. Johnson's remarks to the LRBOD. ************ This is the letter that was sent to Rev. Johnson and  many other  individuals in Little Rock. This is the mailer that was sent to every household in Little Rock that features a uniformed Chief Buckner endorsing the failed funding measure of the state controlled Little Rock Public School district. The group that paid for this mailer was headed by Gary Smith, who is a Little Rock businessman (Glass Erectors, Inc.), a former president of Bank

COMEY LETTER REGARDING TRUMP FIRING

COMEY LETTER REGARDING TRUMP FIRING To all: I have long believed that a President can fire an FBI Director for any reason, or for no reason at all. I'm not going to spend time on the decision or the way it was executed. I hope you won't either. It is done, and I will be fine, although I will miss you and the mission deeply.I have said to you before that, in times of turbulence, the American people should see the FBI as a rock of competence, honesty, and independence. What makes leaving the FBI hard is the nature and quality of its people, who together make it that rock for America. It is very hard to leave a group of people who are committed only to doing the right thing. My hope is that you will continue to live our values and the mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution. If you do that, you too will be sad when you leave, and the American people will be safer.Working with you has been one of the great joys of my life. Thank you for that gift.

Jury finds ex-Arkansas officer liable in fatal shooting A federal jury on Thursday found a former Arkansas police officer liable in the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy and awarded $415,000 in damages to the teenager's mother. The jury ruled in favor of the mother, Sylvia Perkins, in her wrongful death lawsuit against former Little Rock officer Josh Hastings. The verdict in the lawsuit comes after two manslaughter trials against Hastings, 31, ended in hung juries and prosecutors declined to try him a third time. Perkins is the mother of Bobby Moore III, who Hastings shot and killed in 2012 when he fired into a car carrying burglary suspects outside a Little Rock apartment complex. Hastings testified that the car was driving toward him and he yelled for the driver to stop before he opened fire. "As the vehicle gets five feet away, I thought they were going to run over me," Hastings testified. "I fired my weapon at the driver to eliminate the threat

Oh, it was a REALLY fucked-up night. That was just the LAST incident of the evening. Looks like dudes came down to the River Market to fight that night. I witnessed ridiculous and very avoidable incidents that evening where several Little Rock Officers put themselves in harms way simply to keep the peace between unwise and immature grown-ass drunks. Shame on you! Story and video below: LITTLE ROCK, Ark.
