During this time period we had thirty eight autos broken into. The chart shows the day of the week these crimes occur, what times of day they occur, and in which patrol district they occurred. When examining the data it is obvious that a major portion of the auto B & E reports are in Patrol District 40 which is the downtown area. Many of the B & E incidents occurred during events at the Robinson Center, The Rep Theater and the River Market. Beginning today the LRPD will set up teams to work on these crimes. We will use uniformed patrol officers, bicycle officers, officers on horse back, officers on Segways, and undercover officers to stop these crimes. We will also be using bait cars as part of our tactics to stop these crimes.

Save Troy Davis' life The state of Georgia is taking steps to put Troy Davis to death. The case against him consisted of witness testimony that was full of inconsistencies. Since then, all but two of the state’s non-police witnesses from the trial have recanted their testimony —  and many have sworn in affidavits that police pressured or coerced them into testifying or signing statements. There is still serious doubt as to Troy Davis’ guilt, and  by putting him to death Georgia runs the risk of killing an innocent man.  Please call on the board to save Troy Davis’ life. REPRINTED BY MULTIPLE READER REQUESTS: (UPDATE) Officer Parker has been fired from the City of Little Rock Police Department. At about 3pm January 26, 2009, Officer Jamie Parker received the surprise of her life when she showed up for work that day. According to confidential sources, she was informed that she is wanted by the Cabot Police Department for Hot Checks (*contested ) and driving with a suspended license. It was also indicated that Little Rock Police Department issued her an additional ticket for driving with a suspended license also, once being informed that they had a criminal officer driving a city cop car around town giving other people tickets. ACIC caught her LRPD DID NOT. In fact, she is a decorated officer on the force, there are records of awards she has received. I attempted to acquire a comment on this issue as well as a few others that I fully intend to publish in an ongoing investigatory series called: DIRTY DEALINGS IN LITTLE ROCK, exposing co
