CITY LEADERS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT LAUNCHING OF USS LITTLE ROCK THAN DEATHS OF MOTHER AND CHILDREN - TWO MORE REASONS FOR CHANGE

MAYOR MARK "SKIPPER" STODOLA  AT LAUNCHING OF USS LITTLE ROCK

We recently posted about the noticeable absence of city leadership (except for Director Ken Richardson) at the vigil held a week ago for Moriah Cunningham and her two children, A'Laylaih and Elijah Fisher.

You can read that post by clicking here.

So one would expect many of our city leaders to attend the funeral to make up for their absence at the vigil.

Nope.  Only Director Ken Richardson was there.

We know where last term mayor Mark Stodola was.

He was strutting in front of TV cameras trying to dodge questions about the crime rate, racial tension and 55 murders that have happened this year in Little Rock.

It's a good thing for Stodola that he has us blocked from commenting on his Facebook page; we would have shamed him to no end.

Where was City Manager Bruce Moore?

Where was the befouled Chief of Police Kenton Tremar Bucker?

Where were the other board of directors?

Who knows.  Maybe they were at the Ron Robinson Theater watching the live stream of the USS Little Rock launching.

We do know where the voters will be next November - voting those absent leaders out of office.

After we called them out for their lack of concern to connect with and support citizens, the city increased the standard $10,000 reward the city offers for information that leads to the arrest and conviction in homicide cases to $50,000 on Wednesday.

LRPD's effort is touching, but they spelled A'Laylaih's name incorrectly.

LRPD spokesman Steve Moore would not say whether the large reward means detectives are close to the suspect or at a dead end.

Little Rock city leaders are not helping close the racial divide in the city.  Their actions are widening it.

WAYNE BEWLEY CRIME FAMILY: The True Colors of Corruption in LRPD [UPDATED]

Ean Lee Bordeaux was a hot dog vendor in Little Rock, Arkansas, who also writes about police corruption and misconduct on his blog. He has faced significant challenges due to his activism, including three alleged attempts on his life by a fired police officer, Todd Payne, who Bordeaux and others believe was motivated by his writings. Payne is said to have shot at Bordeaux's house in January 2014, killing Bordeaux's dog, Dixie, and damaging his home and property. Bordeaux was also illegally arrested while recording a peaceful #BLM protest in 2020. https://www.vice.com/en/article/a-hot-dog-selling-blogger-told-us-about-the-alleged-corrupt-cop-who-he-says-tried-to-kill-him-811/ https://www.facebook.com/100063606852477/posts/1369197976610456/ Bordeaux has been involved in several incidents with law enforcement, due to his community advocacy.   ASP pedo trooper Valentin liked to do it in the road   I n June 2023 a teenage female filed a complaint with the Arkansas State Police ("ASP") about Corporal Michael Valentin, an ASP Trooper stationed in Harrison, AR. In her complaint she alleged that Valentin had groomed her and had sexual activities, while on duty,  with her and another minor female. She also alleged he was stalking her.  An internal investigation was opened. Both teenage females were interviewed as was Valentin.  The girls stated that they were acquainted with Valentine because one of them was  the stepdaughter of a fellow trooper  and Valentin was a frequent customer at the restaurant that the fellow trooper and his wife owned, where both of the girls worked. The fellow state trooper was Jason Hutcheson. And the restaurant was Hutch's Hot Chicken. Jason Hutcheson Valentin even helped out with some construction projects at Hutcheson's restaurant.
