Little Rock Police Dept. (LRPD) Chief Caught In Another Lie

Little Rock Police Dept. (LRPD)  Chief Caught In Another Lie Russ Racop - April 27, 2021 Yesterday we made a post that included a memo that a confidential source inside LRPD provided to use back on April 19th.  We posted that memo on social media on April 19th and April 20th. Today Max Brantley with the  Arkansas Times  posted on the  Arkansas Blog  about our story. Brantley posted comment Chief Keef made about the incident. Brantley wrote that Chief Keef later updated that message. We suspect that Chief Keef was at one of his side-chicks house when he got a text message about the 23rd killing of the year. Note what he said in his first message... That is a lie. As previously mentioned, one of his trusted employees sent us his April 19th memorandum as soon as they received it. Our posts prove that. His mercenary cops leak information to us on a daily basis. One of our field reporters sent us that photo of him and his grotty feet. And a pedicure won't...

Police chief gets serious about appearance and behavior of officers; draws criticism for his own attire

READ MAX BRANTLEY'S STORY COVERING OUR SCOOP  UPDATE: Police chief gets serious about appearance and behavior of officers; draws criticism for his own attire BY   Max Brantley   ON April 27, 2021 11:42 am 2 Comments A regular correspondent sent me yesterday a photo of a directive to the  Little Rock Police Department  from chief  Keith Humphrey  on communication, facial hair, clothing, smoking, phone use and other matters of conduct on the police force. As yet, I haven’t received a response from a request to the city for an official copy. I’m getting the usual city run-around on FOI requests in the Scott era. With the photo of the memo came a photo of the chief,  courtesy of Russ Racop’s blog , that was taken at his arrival Sunday at the shooting at a city park that left one dead and two children wounded. My correspondent, civic rabble-rouser Jimmie Cavin, was critical of the chief in light of his recent memo. He copied me on an email he sent the ...

LRPD Communication Director Kim Green called out as a racist by employee

LRPD Communication Director Kim Green called out as a racist by employee LRPD Communications Director Kim Green with dodgy LRPD Chief Keef Russ Racop - April 21, 2021   A LRPD civilian employee at the call center posted on her personal Facebook page a scathing resignation letter she sent to the LRPD Communications Director Kimberly Green. The letter details several incidents that point to Green and other employees at the call center creating a Hostile Work Environment. Don't just take her word for it, as soon as we posted Ms. Harris' resignation letter to Facebook, messages started coming in, for example, here is one from a former employee that happens to also be white: Her resignation letter:     We asked LRPD spokesman Mark Nelson, who uses the alias Mark Edwards for a comment. We don't expect him to reply.  Stay tuned for updates.

Little Rock Top Cop Faces Another Violation of LRPD Policy Over Unpaid Debt Lawsuits

LRPD Chief facing another lawsuit over unpaid debts Russ Racop - April 3, 2021   A year ago we were the first news media agency to report that the LRPD police chief had been and was being sued for unpaid credit card debts. You can read that report by clicking  here . On February 4th,   LVNV Funding, LLC , filed a Petition for Indebtedness in the District Court of Cleveland County in Norman, OK, the official residence of the Little Rock Police chief. They are suing for $12,217,13 that Humphrey owed  SoFi Lending Corp.       Like in the three previous debt lawsuits filed and won against Humphrey, his attorney filed a boilerplate denial.      LRPD has a  General Order  in place about employees conduct. It is often cited in disciplinary actions against sworn and civil employees.   LRPD also has  Rules & Regulations  that specifically deal with payment of debts and obligations.   How can the feckl...
