GOOD COP - BAD COP So, I'm catching heat from my cop friends because this catch-a-cop movement that I've started here in Arkansas has grown far larger than just myself over the past 10 years. My approach to public corruption was more targeted and selective in my investigative reports. I'm not the only one in this thing today, so other approaches are now on the table and I DO have a voice in it but only one. This is now a collective and is managed as such. All I can say is, you should have supported me more loudly & boldly when it WAS JUST ME. It was a window in time now long gone. WHITE-RUN BOARD BREAKS TRADITION TO AVOID APPOINTING A BLACK VICE MAYOR The white majority Little Rock Board of Directors voted Tuesday night in an executive session to recycle Ward 7 director B.J. Wyrick to be Vice Mayor in order to keep Ken Richardson from getting the position. Wyrick was Vice Mayor  from January 2000 until December 2001. The board has a tradition that a member with tenure that has not held the position of Vice Mayor is usually the one to be selected.  Neither Ken Richardson or Erma Hendrix have ever held that position. Both are black. Capi Peck, who is white, is the newest member of the board has never held that position either. This is a racist board, as Director Hendrix is fond of saying, and you can do some research and you will find that no proposed ordinance put forth by Hendrix or Richardson has ever gotten enough votes to pass. LITTLE ROCK: MAYOR SCOTT ASKS LRPD FOR 24/7 SECURITY DETAIL AFTER RECEIVING DEATH THREATS MAYOR SCOTT WANTS A 24/7 SECURITY DETAIL PROVIDED FOR HIM AT WORK & HOME We received a tip that Mayor Scott asked City Manager Bruce Moore to have LRPD provide a 24/7 security detail for protection after receiving death and other threats. MAYOR SCOTT & CITY MANAGER BRUCE MOORE AT SCOTT'S FIRST BOARD MEETING AS MAYOR A spokesman for Mayor Scott confirmed that in an off-air telephone conversation during the Black Focus show on the JoyNetRadio.com today (it will be a topic of discussion on the show tomorrow from 12 - 2pm). Melanie Watson, a fourth grade teacher at Little Rock school district Watson Elementary school took to Facebook to reveal her true feeling about the students at her school returning after a holiday break. Watson Elementary only has 10 white students enrolled according to information we obtained earlier in the school year from LRSD. Racist and bigots have long referred to blacks as monkeys. Click  here  for examples. Upset parents protested at the school this morning and were questioned on how long they would be holding up signs in front of the school by the principal. The teacher has deleted her Facebook page and we cannot review it to see if she made other similar racist posts. We have requested information from the school district and will post an update when the information is made available. ***Update- 01/04/19 12:00 pm*** LRSD reports that they have suspended the teacher that made the racist post.
