LRPD CHIEF IS TRYING TO PLUG LEAKS - HE CLAIMS PRIVATE INFORMATION IS BEING RELEASED DAILY VIA "PSEUDO COVERTLY" MEANS LEAKS AT LRPD HAVE CHIEF KEEF IN A TIZZY Chief Keef sent out a department wide email about alleged daily leaks at LRPD. Apparently this has Chief Keef so upset he had some difficulty composing the message.  Or maybe he is just sloppy writer. We found it laughable that he states "Our department has an[sic] will always follow the State of Arkansas FOIA laws", especially since we had to sue them twice last year to force them to comply with the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act. Chief Keef has a severe problem with credibility. His proclamation that he will make Little Rock the safest city in the state of Arkansas and in the United States is noting shorty of delusional.  Since he was hired, we have had numerous FOI requests ignored and not answered within the statutory time frame.  Failure to provide a response is

NORTH LITTLE ROCK POLICE OFFICER JON MICHAEL CROWDER ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH BATTERY THIRD DEGREE NLRPD OFFICER JON MICHAEL CROWDER North Little Rock Police Officer Jon Michael Crowder was charged with Battery Third Degree, a misdemeanor offense yesterday afternoon. The charges stem from an incident on  August 27. 2018 when Crowder responded to a call and injured a suspect during an arrest. According to sources that have viewed dash camera footage,  it shows Crowder  shows conducting a traffic stop on a blue vehicle at the entrance of SuperStay Motel on West Pershing.  Crowder had the driver of the vehicle, Kristopher Ryan Lamar step out of the vehicle and move to the rear of the car. WHERE DO THE LRPD TAKE-HOME VEHICLES GO? - EPISODE 14: OFFICER JEFF KING OFFICER JEFFERY WAYNE KING       In 2018 we spent $1,795.10 on fuel for King's take-home vehicle. In 2017 we spent $1,727.16 on fuel for King's take-home vehicle.    LRPD and the city of Little Rock refused to provide us information regarding city where the take-home cars go. So much for being transparent and open. They provided it last year and you can read our post about that by clicking  here . Since they refuse to provide the information (the take home city is what we requested), we will post where these vehicles are actually going (their address which was not requested and is exempt under the AFOIA) and how much we pay for the fuel to provide transportation for these officers to drive to and from their homes each day. WHERE DO THE LRPD TAKE-HOME VEHICLES GO? - EPISODE 6 OFFICER ERIC SHANE BARNES HAS AN UNMARKED TAKE-HOME CAR It cost us $746.44 for fuel for Barnes' take-home vehicle in 2018. Barnes is one of the public information officers for LRPD. LRPD and the city of Little Rock refused to provide us information regarding where the take-home cars go. So much for being transparent and open. They provided it last year and you can read our post about that by clicking  here . Since they refuse to provide the information (the take home city is what we requested), we will post where these vehicles are actually going (their address which was not requested and is exempt under the AFOIA) and how much we pay for the fuel to provide transportation for these officers to drive to and from their homes each day.
