An entire police force in Colorado quits

GREEN MOUNTAIN FALLS, CO (KXRM/CNN) - The entire police force for a small town in Colorado has quit.

The chief announced his resignation, and the other three officers on the force followed his lead.

“Our marshall and three deputies quit, so that's about all they said,” resident Ann Pinell said.

In a town meeting Tuesday night, citizens were informed of the situation but say they still don't know why the entire force is quitting.

“We've had like our hometown marshal for many years, so I sure hope we get another marshal in our town,” Pinell said.

Lights out and not a soul in sight, but we were able to track down the newly elected mayor.

“In an election year there's always some people who choose to stay and some people who choose to go, and I think that happens at every level of government,” Green Mountain Falls Mayor Jane Newberry said.

A town meeting summary hanging in the post office states the acceptance of Chief Bradley and his staff's resignations, but other than that the town is left wondering what happened.

“He is pursuing other opportunities as I understand it and good luck to him but that's not to say that we are without police coverage,” Newberry said.

Green Mountain Falls is home to nearly 700 people, but in the summer that number can go up to 1,200.

And with no local police, it's only law enforcement presence is left up to El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

“They should absolutely feel safe. I have every confidence in El Paso County Sheriff's Office, I always have and there's no reason anybody needs to worry. We are a small community and that's one of our advantages, we all kind of look out for each other,” Newberry said.

According to the sheriff's office, as of now they'll do their normal amount of patrolling unless there's a need for more.

Some residents said they're confident the sheriff's office will do their part to keep the town safe, but they're worried local ordinances won't be enforced.

The mayor says as soon as budgets are nailed down, they'll start looking to hire new officers.

LAWSUIT TO BE FILED AGAINST CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND DIRTY COP

This piece of shit dirty cop made defaming and inappropriate statements about an active case on social media, a DIRECT violation of LRPD General orders RE social media.
LRPD decides to BLATANTLY cover it up.
The city will have dirty cop Eliot Young to thank when they ALL receive their subpoenas requiring their MANDATORY appearance before a circuit court judge and explain their criminal racketeering activities.
This most certainly includes the Mayor Mark Stodola, city manager Bruce Moore, chief of police Kenton Tremar Buckner and Stuart Thomas as well as a great many LRPD officers.
This is going to get down and dirty, indeed. We will be organizing protests, IM me for details if you wish to participate in the organization of the upcoming public protests against police misconduct.
